span of time

I posted in my first blog that I had a family saga. That is being sold on Amazon as book one: Long Ride. Second book will be Dogs of Justice. Third will be No Hiding Place. Fourth is Edge of the Knife. Fifth is Terror and Revenge.
Now that's all well and good,but what I really want to work on next, since I've already done 13 books, is a story starting with WWII and a recap of a veteran's life during that period. The story is too long for a magazine and too short for a book. So, I'll be looking to compile three other stories with the first. I will add a Korean War story to the first one. Then I'd like to follow up with a story of Vietnam from the eyes of a veteran. After that, I'll write a story of Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom -- who ever dreamed these f'ing names up? -- and put them all together so I can make it a book which, perhaps, the USNA would publish, or maybe Texas A&M, or even some other military publisher of non-fiction. Would make a nice sized book. Any thoughts from anyone?
